Description
Mrs. Mortimer explains why nursing at East Grinstead was the peak of her career!
Transcript
East Grinstead, it was a very special hospital and I shall... it’s the peak of my nursing and I just loved every minute of it there, although it was sad. As they say, the nurses looked after them before they had their operation, they looked after them during their operation and they looked after them after the operation and they used to go out with them, and it was a very friendly, wonderful atmosphere. Of all the experiences I had and I have had many, many experiences, this is what stays in my heart. I really enjoyed every minute of it. Although it was hard, I didn’t know whether I would be able to stand it, but I could and I did.
