Mr. Constantineau has been the President of the War Pensioners of Canada since 1998 and is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, where he has held various positions. In 2000, Mr. Constantineau spearheaded the committee to provide a Dedication Plaque of Remembrance with the goal of attaching "Lest We Forget" plaques to Veterans' grave markers in his region. To date, hundreds of plaques have been attached and the program is still ongoing. Together with his spouse, Eilleen Caverley, Mr. Constantineau produces and mails out monthly War Pensioners of Canada newsletters to members informing them of issues related to pensions, health care, and other Veterans' and seniors' issues.
Mrs. Caverley is a member of the War Pensioners of Canada and took on the duties of Secretary many years ago. She also volunteered for the position of Treasurer three years ago when that position could not be filled and does the bookkeeping for the "Lest We Forget" plaque project sales. Additionally, Mrs. Caverley is responsible for licensing and administrating the Association's community 50/50 draws, which is their means of survival as an Association. Along with her husband, she is also an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
