Details: Aboriginal Veterans Autochtones (AVA) will host a commemorative wreath-laying ceremony at the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument in Ottawa to mark National Indigenous Peoples Day. The ceremony will pay tribute to the service and sacrifices of Indigenous Peoples during the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War, and in times of conflict and peace since then.

June 21, 2026, also marks 25 years since the unveiling of the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument in Ottawa.
