Each day from November 1 - 11, Operation Remembrance will release a video created by students from participating schools across the country.

The videos will be shared on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@operationremembrance) and Instagram (@operationremembrance).

Students create short documentaries that tell stories of sacrifices made during times of conflict. Here is the line up for Operation Remembrance 2025:

Day 1: = Nov 1
The Introductory video will feature messages from the Governor General of Canada and the President of the Royal Canadian Legion, Dominion Command. (8 minutes)

Day 2 = Nov 2
Cpl Franck Dupéré Legacy Memorial - Led by members of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board Student Leadership Certificate Program (Quebec). (3.5 minutes)

Day 3 = Nov 3
110th Anniversary of WW1 : 2nd Battle of Ypres and Poison Gas - Cadets from King's Edgehill School (Nova Scotia) will highlight members of the 13th Battalion of the Royal Highlanders of Canada and their actions during the Second Battle of Ypres and the first use of poisonous gas as a weapon by the Germans. (5-7 minutes)

Day 4 = Nov 4
110th Anniversary of WW1: Dr John McCrae’s  “In Flanders Fields'' - Students from Glebe Collegiate Institute in Ontario will honour Lieutenant-Colonel Dr. John McCrae and his writing of the famous poem "In Flanders Fields" following the death of his friend. (5-7 minutes)

Day 5 = Nov 5
80th Anniversary of WWII: Liberation of the Netherlands - Students from Basisschool Erve Hooyerwinck elementary school in Delden, Netherlands, will commemorate their liberation and the sacrifices made by so many Canadian soldiers. (8 minutes)

Day 6 = Nov 6
80th Anniversary of WWII: Army - Students from Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board Student Leadership Certificate Program (Quebec) will honour the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada at Verrières Ridge during the Battle of Normandy in the Second World War. (8 minutes)

Day 7 = Nov 7
80th Anniversary of WWII: Air Force - Students from Sacred Heart Catholic High School (Ontario) will honour the life of Air Commodore John Fauquier, DSO, DFC. (8 minutes)

Day 8 = Nov 8
80th Anniversary of WWII: Navy - Students from Ridley College (Ontario) will honour Veterans who served aboard the HMCS Haida, a Royal Canadian Navy Tribal-class destroyer that served in the Second World War and the Korean War. (8 minutes)

Day 9 = Nov 9:
80th Anniversary of SWW: The Holocaust - Students from Selwyn House School (Quebec) will honour Veterans who played a significant role in the liberation of concentration camps. (5-7 minutes).

Day 10 = Nov 10:
11th Anniversary of the War in Afghanistan: Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry - Students from Turnbull School (Ontario) will honour Veterans who served in PPCLI during the War in Afghanistan. (10 minutes)

Day 11 = November 11:
The Minister of Veteran Affairs, the Honourable Jill McKnight, will honour our Veterans. The Act of Remembrance will be read by students from Jules Verne and Franklin Hill Elementary Schools (Quebec) with students from Maasland College (Netherlands) playing a special role; The Commitment to Remember will be read by students from King's Edgehill School (Nova Scotia); Students from George O'Neill Public School (Ontario) will explain the significance of the two minues of silence. (10 minutes)
