As part of our program, we will highlight the work of the Latin American Soldiers Committee (LASC), showcasing the history, the power of storytelling, and the vital support provided by embassies and heritage organizations. We will also discuss strategies to foster dialogue, strengthen community engagement, and ensure the lasting recognition of Latin American contributions to history in Canadá and the Allies. Additionally, we will present LASC’s ongoing commitment to honoring soldiers, advancing a comprehensive historical narrative, and sharing exciting upcoming initiatives, including educational and recognition programs.
