A Remembrance Day ceremony will be held in the Municipality of Saint-Louis (located between Saint-Hyacinthe and Sorel-Tracy) to honor the memory of all veterans, from the beginning of Canada to the present day.
A special mention will be made to Mr. Jean Trempe, veteran and citizen of Saint-Louis. On this occasion, a commemorative plaque will be unveiled and the park will be redesigned, including the installation of a flagpole with the Canadian flag and silhouettes of soldiers.
The ceremony will take place in the presence of the Honor Guard of the 6th Battalion of the Royal 22nd Regiment, with music, a marching band, dignitaries, and members of the Trempe family.
Refreshments and a reception will be served.
