This scroll was unveiled in memory of the soldiers of the 154th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force who died in the First World War.
The 154th Battalion was raised in the counties of Stormant, Dundas and Glengarry, near Cornwall Ontario. It embarked for England on 16 October 1916, arriving in the UK later that month. It was disbanded a few months later after its members were tranferred to other battalions as reinforcements. Despite being disbanded, surviving members of the original 154th Battalion produced this scroll to honour original members of the 154th who had died in the First World War.
