This memorial, composed of a bronze statue on a stone cairn, was originally unveiled in 1986 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the QGET, 5th Brigade Group. In 1994, a plaque was added in honour of Lieutenant Bernard Lafleur, MC, who lived from 1920 to 1961.
