This memorial is dedicated to the North Nova Scotia Highlanders who died in the Second World War. Photo by Tom McCoag/Amherst Bureau (newspaper name and edition not mentioned): "Ray Coulson, curator of the North Nova Scotia Highlander Museum, and Phyllis Perry look at the famed Second World War regiment's honour roll. The names of all soldiers who died while with the regiment are being compiled into a Book of Remembrance to be unveiled this summer."
