This memorial is a framed honour roll, erected in grateful remembrance by the teachers and students of the Balmy Beach Public School, in honour of the pupils of Annette Street School who volunteered for active service with Canada’s fighting forces during the First and Second World Wars. There is a bronze plaque for the First World War, and an illuminated list (designed by A.J. Casson) for the Second World War.
