Bloomfield Cenotaph

The Bloomfield Cenotaph was erected by the St. Anthony Legion Branch 27 in early spring of 1995, spearheaded by 78 year old Second World War Veteran, Comrade James Hudson. It was built with New Brunswick granite with five foot deep footings. The cenotaph was dedicated on May 8, 1995, during a parade for the 50^th anniversary of V.E. day. Earlier that day a spring storm left 15cm of snow that was plowed to create a path to the cenotaph for the parade.
