Bonne Bay Cenotaph

Woody Point, Newfoundland & Labrador
Type
Other

Constructed by Mrs. M. Hollohan in honour of the war dead of Bonne Bay during the First World War, this memorial was later expanded to include a plaque to the local war dead of the Second World War.

In October 18, 2018, the Veteran’s Memorial Garden Committee sought input from the community as to what they would like to see in the Veteran’s Memorial Garden. The committee had most, if not all, of the work done by local contractors and/or volunteers in the area. By 2018, they raised over $20,000.00 with the support of many individuals and groups.
