This memorial cairn was erected June 11th, 1967, by Branch 534 of the Royal Canadian Legion. It's located in a small parkette within a small fenced-off area. Two plaques were placed on the cairn, one dedicated to the soldiers from Burford Township who died while serving their country and another personalized plaque dedicated an airman on behalf of his family.
