In memory of soldiers who died in service and on the field of honour during the Korean War and First and Second World Wars. A section of the memorial park was developed to pay homage to men and women who gave their lives in time of war to preserve our freedoms. A monument was erected in 1964 by War Veterans (Canadian Legion), inscribed with the names of soldiers who died during the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War. The park also has flower beds and two guns built here in Canada that saw service during the Second World War.
