Coastal Command – Commandement de l’aviation côtière

From the outbreak of war to VE Day, the RCAF was heavily involved in the Battle of the Atlantic as part of "Coastal Command". Squadrons from east coast bases carried out convoy duties and anti-submarine patrols, flying Lockheed Hudsons and Venturas, Catalinas, Cansos and Liberators.
