The Colours of the Bytown Gunners was presented to the Ottawa gunners Association, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the 2nd Ottawa Field Battery, Royal Canadian Artillery 1855-2005. The memorial is located in Observation Post de Hart (Op de Hart, home of the Ottawa Gunners), on the 2nd floor of the Army Officer's Mess in Ottawa.

The Colours of the Bytown Gunners provides a representation of each of the guns that the unit has been equipped with throughout its history, from the 6 Pounder 58ML gun during the days of the Volunteer Militia Field Battery of Ottawa, to the 105mm C3 howitzer of the present day unit. This memorial celebrates the 150th anniversary of the 2nd Ottawa Field Battery, Royal Canadian Artillery 1855-2005.
