A stained glass window at the Church of St. Aidan was dedicated to parishioner Corporal Harry Jordon Guest, who was killed in the First World War. Harry was born on 30 March 1894 to Albert E. and Susan Guest in Toronto, Ontario. He worked as a clerk and was a member of The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada militia before becoming a corporal with the 19th Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force after enlisting on 10 November 1914. On 11 September 1916, he was reported missing while fighting at the Somme, later confirmed to have been killed in action.
