This street is named in memory of Private Frederick Scott Davidson.

Frederick Scott Davidson was born in 1907, most likely in the area of Zurich ON, about 70km northwest of London ON. Little is known about his personal life or his military career. Private Frederick Scott Davidson died on 15 December 1945 at the age of 38, while on active service in Canada with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps and is buried at the Exeter (ON) Cemetery.

(Note: Little is known about this individual. However, given that he is buried in Exeter ON, about 7km north of Centralia, it is quite possible that he was serving at the Centralia military medical clinic at the time of his death. The Centralia airfield was a British Commonwealth Air Training Plan- BCATP- site that continued to be used until January 1946, after “Victory Europe” Day in May 1945 and the surrender of Japan in September 1945.)
