This monument, erected on 16 October 1971 by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 245 (Dorval) and the City of Dorval, is dedicated to the citizens of Dorval who died for their country, in war and in times of peace.

TO THE HEROES OF DORVAL. THEY MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY AND COMMUNITY DURING WAR AND PEACE. MAY WE EVER REMEMBER AND IN DOING SO MAY WE PRAY - LORD GOD OF HOST BE WITH US YET. "LEST WE FORGET".
