Erected by Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 561 in 1998, this memorial is dedicated to those who died during the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War and on United Nations' peacekeeping missions. This memorial was rededicated in 2007 after it was updated to include Afghanistan.

The Elliot Lake Cairn was located here before it was replaced in 1998 with this memorial. A 20-mm anti-aircraft gun is also located here.
