First World War Organ

An organ in honour of Royce Avenue Presbyterian Church parishioners who served and parishioners who gave their lives in the First World War was unveiled on March 25, 1923. The congregation at Royce and Perth Avenues joined the United Church in 1925 and became Alhambra Avenue United Church. High Park-Alhambra United Church was established in 1970 with the union of High Park Avenue United Church and Alhambra Avenue United Church. The congregation used the High Park Avenue building which was located at the corner of High Park Avenue and Annette Street. The congregation closed in 1996 and it is not known what happened to the organ.
