This memorial, a bust of “La France”, is dedicated to Canada and to Canadians who fought in the First World War. This sculpture was a gift from France, produced by Auguste Rodin in 1904 and was presented to Canada in 1921.

It is a part of the House of Commons Heritage Collection, item O-1008.
