This memorial was erected by Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 23 (Lunenburg) in honour of the First World War dead of The Lunenburg Regiment. The image at the top of the stele depicts the regiment's cap badge. The memorial is constructed of rough granite, and it stands approximately five feet high.
