The Lyn & District Heritage Society erected this memorial in 2006, in memory of the veterans and the fallen in the First World War, the Second World War, and the Korean War. It is a stone wall, containing a carved obelisk and flagpole, with a local mill stone at its crest.
One of the names listed is that of Lt-Col Thain W. MacDowell, who was decorated with the Victoria Cross, for his bravery during the attack on Vimy Ridge.
