Erected by the village of Malpeque, this memorial is dedicated to the local war dead of the First World War. Unveiled by Clark Woodside M.M., a veteran of the First World War. Funds for this memorial were raised by the surrounding communities, including Darnley, Malpeque, Hamilton, Spring Valley, Sea View, Baltic and Indian River.

Built in 1921, the memorial stands 9ft and features a soldier holding a "flag of victory".
