This plaque was the marker from the original Mariners' Monument. The components of this monument were incorporated into the new Anchorage Memorial.

Anchorage Memorial Bell, Superior Anchors, Carronades, Ships Tribute, S.S. Rappahannock Anchor, and Thunder Bay Sailors' Plaques.
