At Mayfield United Church, there is a stained glass window memorial depicting: (1) a dove, sky, and clouds; (2) ribbons and a hand grasping a lit torch; and (3) poppies and rows of crosses. These windows were erected by the parish of Mayfield United Church in honour and memory of all those who served during times of war.
In 2005, as a 175th Anniversary Project, and to commemorate “The Year of the Veteran,” the window (original 1874) on the south side of the vestibule was replaced with the memorial stained glass window.
