A stained glass memorial window was erected in honour of Corporal Edwin Frederick Mantle at New Horizons Baptist Church featuring the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals crest at the top, a knight in armour with a dedication below. The inscription above on the banner "And all the trumpets sound for him on the other side" is taken from The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. He was the son of Albert Frederick and Charlotte Alice Mantle, of London, Ontario, Canada. He died on active service at 38 and was buried in Port Glasgow Cemetery in Renfrewshire, United Kingdom Grave Reference: Sec. M. Row 2. Grave 50.

The Royal Canadian Corps of Signals is now perpetuated by the Communications and Electronics Branch of the Canadian Forces. The Latin motto "Velox Versutus Vigiland" which means "Swift, Skilled, Alert", was inherited from the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals.
