Constructed in 1919, to honour those service men who were killed in action during the First and Second World Wars. The monument was erected through the efforts of the Women's Institute of Milton. It was originally placed in the Milton Cemetery, but in 1995 was moved to the newly developed Tupper Park so it could be more visible and accessible to the public. The names of those who died during the war of 1914 - 1918 are listed on the left and right side of the Pedestal. The names of those who died during the war of 1939 - 1945 are listed on a grey granite slab attached to the base of the monument. On the front of the Pedestal there is a carved wreath in "bas-relief" with the etchings of the crossed rifle bayonets fixed piercing the centre of the wreath.
