Situated on the former site of the Rideau Veterans Home, this memorial is dedicated to all Canadian Veterans. It consists of two stone pillars joined by a bilingual plaque explaining the history of the site. The pillars are made from quarried stone from the fireplaces of the Rideau Veterans Home. There are two more pillars to the sides with benches between them for quiet contemplation.
In the centre of the park stands a 300 year old burr oak tree with several more benches surrounding the pillars and oak tree. The benches were donated by seven local branches of the Royal Canadian Legion, Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans of Canada, Korea Veterans of Canada, Canada Lands Company, War Amputations of Canada, and the Perley and Rideau Veterans Health Care Centre and Foundation. This memorial was unveiled circa 2003.
