The Prescott Cenotaph honours those who did not return from the two World Wars and those who served in the Korean War.

The cenotaph was originally located at the municipal building on Dibble Street, where is was displayed for 40 years.  It was moved to a more prominent place in front of Fort Wellington in 2001, as a joint project of Prescott’s Royal Canadian Legion Branch #97 and Fort Wellington. A poppy garden was added in 2015.
