This street is named in memory of Sergeant Jack Chester Roulston.

 

Jack Chester Roulston was born on 24 November 1921 in London ON. He grew up on Eva Street (now Kellogg Lane) and attended H.B. Beal Technical High School. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and following his aircrew training in Canada, was promoted to Sergeant and selected for pilot training. He was undergoing pilot training at No. 17 (Pilot) Advanced Flying Unit, in England, when his Miles Master aircraft crashed on 20 August 1943 near Chorley, Nantwick, Cheshire. Sergeant Jack Chester Roulston is buried at Wrexham Cemetery, Wales.
