Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24 War Memorial

St Catharines, Ontario

This cenotaph was initially installed in 1956 by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24 at 111 Church Street. This memorial was erected to replace earlier memorials dating back to 1917. The memorial also honours 5 members of the Adie family of St Catharines who served in the First World War including 3 sons who lost their lives. The cenotaph was moved to City Hall in 2016.
