This memorial was constructed in August 1920, in memory of "Our Boys who fell in the Great War 1914 - 1918". This Gothic shaped monument that was created by Hayes Bros, is constructed from Scotch Granite and stands seven feet high. It is traditionally engraved with names, dates, flags, rifles, and maple leafs. The monument was erected by The Women's Institute of Trout Creek at a total cost of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars. The names of those from the community who gave their lives during the Second World War were subsequently added.
