In July 1996, the Valcartier Cadet Memorial was dedicated to all cadets who lost their lives during summer training at Valcartier Cadet Training Center — nine in total. It was erected with funds from the Government of Canada, Valcartier Cadet Camp non-public funds and Army Cadet League of Canada. The memorial was made by Saint-Charles-Garnier Funeral Monuments.
