This cenotaph is dedicated to the memory of the men of the Wakefield area who gave their lives for Canada. It is composed of a grey granite stele (with inscription) on a large base, and a black granite plaque with inscribed names to the left. It was erected by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 214, and has undergone significant changes and updates since it was first unveiled.
