This memorial is dedicated to William Dewey Hagyard. It was erected by Mrs. Mary Alice Danner in the lobby of Red Cross House, 237 Metcalfe Street, Ottawa. 

It is now in the possession of the Department of History at Western University. Once the campus re-opens post-COVID, the plaque will be mounted on a wall in a public area of Lawson Hall, along with some explanatory material.
