Bailleulval is a village in the Department of the Pas-de-Calais about 13 kilometres south-west of Arras, and the BAC-DU-SUD BRITISH CEMETERY is one kilometre west of the village on the north side of the main road from Arras to Doullens (N25)

Gibbons, (seated)and brothers:  Corporal Chester Gibbons #469515 (back left) also of the 2nd Battalion (Eastern Ontario Regiment), and Private Robert Thompson Gibbons #902517, 85th Battalion CEF, Nova Scotia Highlanders.  A real-photo postcard inscribed on reverse with the three names/ranks and "Witly Eng. Xmas 1917."  Their attestation papers show that Arthur and Chester were born in Melrose, Massachusetts, U.S.A., while 
Robert was born after the family  relocated to Nova Scotia.
