H.M.S. HOOD – Joseph Gallant was on the HMS Hood when the ship had sunk, May 24, 1941. Samuel Gaudet, John Gillis and William Gallant were also on the ship that fateful day. A picture of the HMS Hood in Iceland just before its sinking. This picture was found in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 65 in Brigus, Newfoundland."
