Z7307 was airborne 2140 from West Raynham for an Intruder sortie over Soesterberg Airfield. The aircraft was shot down by a night-fighter, crashing 2357 into the Waddenzee N of Wieringen, Holland. F/S (P) W.M.Popplestone and P/O (AG) C. E. White, RAF, are buried in the Harlingen General Cemetery. P/O W. G. F. Hawkins has no known grave and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
