His full name is Reginald Samuel Taylor. Son of Lewis Charles Taylor and Lucina Wilson, of East Angus, Québec.
He served in Québec, in Newfoundland with Force W, in New Brunswick, in Hong Kong with Force C, and in Japan as prisoner of war. He had 1,254 days of service, including 787 overseas.

YOKOHAMA WAR CEMETERY is 9 kilometres west of the city on Yuenchi-Dori, Hodogaya Ward, which branches left off the old Tokkaido highway. The nearest railway station is Hodogaya, 5 kilometres to the north on the JNR line but the cemetery is easily reached by bus from Yokohama station.
