Sandwich East, Windsor, Ontario

Son of Frederick Charles Casey and Ivy Hobbs, of Sandwich West, Ontario. Frederick served in Canada during the First World War, with the Western Ontario Regiment, service number 3137511.

Brother of Wilfred Joseph Casey who served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He survived the war.

Before enlisting with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1939, he served as private with Essex Scottish Regiment (Highlanders) from 1935 to 1937.

He served in Canada and Newfoundland. He had 1,333 days of service, including 238 days overseas.
