Cecil enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on April 29th 1915 listing his occupation as "Labourer"  Cecil died at Vancouver BC during the Spanish flu panademic at the age of 22.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
