Ramillies is a village in the Department of the Nord approximately 3 kilometres north-east of Cambrai. The RAMILLIES BRITISH CEMETERY is signposted from the centre of the village and is situated just outside Ramillies on Rue d'erre.

  • Circumstances of Death Registers– "Killed in Action"

During operations in from of Hordain, he was struck in the hip by an enemy machine gun bullet whilst making a tour of the posts of his company of the night of October 17th, 1918. He died almost immediately after receiving his wounds.
