  • Grave Marker– Grave of 540398 Pvt. Nelson A. Zettergreen who served in the Canadian Cyclist Battn. C.E.F. Nelson was born in Mara BC on June 17th 1897. He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Victoria BC on Sept. 3rd 1915, he listed prior military service in the BC Horse (Militia) he listed his occupation as "Sailor" Nelson was wounded near Arras France in 1917 and was invalided back to Canada where on April 7th 1919 he succumbed to his wounds at Vancouver BC at the age of 21. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC
