Major-General Eedson Louis Millard Burns, Commander of 2nd Division and 1 Canadian Corps during the Second World War and Commander of UNEF I, the first United Nations Peacekeeping Force is remembered. A classroom in the School of Military Mapping is named for Major-General Burns for his significant contributions to military mapping.
