This memorial was erected by the municipality of Smiths Falls in memory of the local war dead of the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War. On the front of the monument there is a dove, a rifle reversed and a helmet. The flagpoles bear the Canadian flag, the provincial and territorial flags, and the banner of the Royal Canadian Legion.
