Ship running aground

Transcript
Of course in Korea that was basically a, an American show, but they, boy they, they didn't mess around. I give them, Americans credit for that. When we ran aground, oh we didn't run aground, our, we had a stupid officer drive us right into a rock. That's what happened, it's, it's, and we took a chunk out of our bough. Oh, we, were just hanging there on the rock and not, not a mile from our where we were, they're gunning placements that had been shelling our area from over there and we're dead ducks sitting there. I, I was on watch (inaudible), one of them on watch there were two of us and we had to get a hold of the American base and tell them we're hung up here and we need some help. Do you know from the time we sent that message to the Yanks, it's only, there only about two hundred and thirty miles away. There were, there were two aircraft, American Air Force planes flying cover for us. Oh it's,.... oh give me a second. It's, it's just so much appreciation. They covered us. There was only one red aircraft showed up and it didn't come within a few miles, and they went after that. That was the end of that.
