MONUMENT COMMÉMORATIF SUD-AFRICAIN – Ce souvenir en argent a été conçu en l’honneur des officiers, des sous-officiers et des hommes du Royal Canadian Regiment qui se sont battus pour l’Empire en Afrique du Sud et à la mémoire de ceux qui sont morts au combat de 1899 à 1902. Il a été présenté au Royal Canadian Regiment en 1902 à Halifax, en Nouvelle Écosse.

THE ROYAL CANADIAN REGIMENT
The Regiment, throughout the years,
has been presented with a number of
memorials to commemorate historic and
significant events in The Regiment's
history. The following five sterling
silver memorials in these cases pay
tribute to members of The Regiment
who served in the North-West Rebellion
(1885), the Boer War (1899 - 1902),
the First World War (1914 - 1918), the
Second World War (1939 - 1945),
and the Korean War (1950 - 1953).
