This plaque commemorates London's contribution to the BCATP
# 3 efts, OPERATED BY THE Lodon Flying Club, included engine and
airframe theory, navigation, aircraft instrumentation and 50 hours
flying. Approximately 30 moths, Finches and Cornells served as
trainer aircraft. 681 students graduated # 4 AOS, operated by
Leavens Brothers Air Services was devoted was devoted to navigation on Anson
aircraft. 4,439 students graduated. Training peaked between June
1943 and August 1944 when flying hours never fell below 4,600 monthly.
Under this "Plan" the RCAF grew to a strength of 215,000.
